At The Stark SEO, our entire service model is built on transparency — you see publisher metrics before you approve, and you pay only after the link goes live. Because of that, most refund situations simply don’t arise. But when they do, this policy tells you exactly how we handle them, honestly and without fine print.
Our Pay-After-Delivery Model
Unlike most link-building services, The Stark SEO does not charge you upfront. You receive the confirmed live URL, verify the placement yourself, and then pay. This model exists specifically to eliminate the most common reason for refund requests — paying for something that was never delivered.
Because payment is only triggered after a live link is confirmed, you are protected by design — not just by policy. This page covers the remaining edge cases where a refund conversation may still be needed.
When You Are Eligible for a Refund
Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis. The following situations qualify for a full or partial refund:
If you were charged more than once for the same order, or if a payment processing error caused an incorrect charge, you are eligible for a full refund of the erroneous amount with no questions asked.
If The Stark SEO cannot secure the agreed-upon placement despite reasonable outreach efforts, and no suitable replacement is available that meets your standards, you will receive a full refund for that specific placement.
In rare cases, a publisher may remove a placement very shortly after it goes live due to their own internal changes. If this occurs before our 365-day guarantee period would normally handle it, we issue a replacement or full refund for that placement.
If you request a cancellation before our team has started any research, outreach, or content work on your campaign and a payment has been collected in advance for any reason, you are eligible for a full refund.
Non-Refundable Situations
To keep pricing fair for all clients and sustainable for the publishers we work with, refunds are not available in the following situations:
- Live placements: Once a link or guest post is live on a third-party site and confirmed by you, the service is considered fully delivered.
- Approved content or anchor text: After you approve a draft, topic, or anchor, your order is locked into the publishing pipeline and cannot be reversed.
- Third-party publisher fees: Costs already incurred with publishers cannot be recovered once outreach and negotiation have concluded.
- Dissatisfaction with rankings: SEO outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. Refunds are not issued on the basis of ranking movement or traffic results.
- Change of mind or strategy shift: Once work has commenced, a change in your business direction or budget is not grounds for a refund.
- Client unresponsiveness: If a campaign stalls for more than 30 consecutive days because we cannot get the information or approvals needed from your side, the service may be considered complete and non-refundable.
If you have any concern about quality before approving content or confirming a placement, raise it before approval. Once approved, your order is committed.
365-Day Link Guarantee
Rather than issuing refunds for removed links, The Stark SEO operates a 365-day replacement guarantee on all guest posting placements. This is our preferred resolution because it directly protects your campaign’s impact.
If a Link Drops, We Replace It Free
If any guest post link we secure is removed within 365 days of publication, we replace it with a link of equal or greater value at no additional cost. No lengthy process, no arguments.
To qualify: notify us within 14 days of discovering the removal so we can begin replacement outreach promptly.
The guarantee does not apply where the removal was caused by:
- Changes to your target URL or website structure after publication
- A Google manual action or penalty against your domain
- Violations of the publisher’s editorial terms by you or your client
- A request from you to alter anchor text or content after publication
Niche edit placements are sourced from aged, established pages and are secured as permanent placements — the guarantee functions the same way.
Transaction & Processing Fees
Where a refund is approved, The Stark SEO reserves the right to deduct non-recoverable payment processing fees — typically 2–3% charged by Stripe or PayPal at the time of the original transaction. These fees are not returned to us when we issue a refund and cannot be absorbed on our end.
All refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction. We are not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuation between the purchase date and the refund date.
In most approved refund scenarios, the deducted processing fee is a small fraction of the refund amount. We will always communicate the exact figure before completing any refund.

Any concern about the quality or delivery of a service must be reported to us within 14 days of receiving your live URL report. Claims raised after this window may not be reviewable depending on the nature of the issue.
We resolve the overwhelming majority of concerns through direct communication — often with a revision, a replacement placement, or a straightforward clarification. Please talk to us before escalating anything. It is almost always the fastest path to a good outcome for both sides.

Chargeback Policy
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us is a direct violation of our Terms of Service. We always prefer to resolve concerns directly — please email us first.
- If a chargeback is filed, all active campaigns associated with your account will be suspended immediately.
- We maintain detailed records of every delivery, report, and communication and will contest fraudulent chargebacks with full documentation.
- Accounts that file chargebacks in bad faith may be permanently closed and may be liable for associated recovery costs.

Store Credit as an Alternative
In some situations, we may offer — or you may prefer — store credit rather than a cash refund. Store credit preserves the full value of your original purchase and can be applied to any future guest posting or niche edit order.
Store credit is typically the fastest resolution and avoids any payment processing fee deductions.
SEO Results Disclaimer
No ranking guarantees: Google’s algorithm is influenced by hundreds of factors including your site’s existing authority, content quality, competitor activity, and algorithmic updates. The Stark SEO does not guarantee specific ranking positions, traffic volumes, or revenue outcomes.
Refunds will not be issued on the basis of SEO performance metrics, provided the agreed-upon services were delivered as specified in your order. Our obligation is to deliver quality, Google-safe placements on the publishers and metrics agreed — the downstream ranking impact is influenced by your broader SEO environment.
Refund Processing Timeline
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account after we confirm the refund — processing times vary by bank and payment provider.
- You will receive a confirmation email detailing the refund amount, any deducted fees, and the expected arrival window.
We send a confirmation email the same day any refund is approved. If you have not heard from us within our stated 3–5 business day review window, please follow up and we will respond immediately.

The Stark SEO may update this Refund Policy from time to time as our services evolve. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on this page.
